What We Believe

Our faith isn’t a list of doctrines to memorize—
it’s the framework that shapes how we worship, serve, and live every day. Three convictions guide us:

Unity in the Essentials

The historic truths of the gospel anchor us to one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God & Father (Eph 4:4-6).

Liberty in the Non-Essentials

When Scripture leaves room for honest disagreement, we extend grace instead of drawing battle lines
(Rom 14).

Charity in Everything

Love is the pulse behind every conviction, practice, and conversation; without it, we gain nothing
(1 Cor 13:2).

The Essentials We Hold To

The Godhead
(Trinity)

There is one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4

The Father

God the Father directs all things according to His own will and purpose. He created and sustains everything by His power alone. By His grace, He is involved in our lives, hears our prayers, and saves all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Matthew 6:9, Ephesians 1:3,
John 5:19

The Lord
Jesus Christ

Jesus has always existed as the second person of the Trinity. He was born of a virgin and came to earth fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sin, and rose from the dead. He physically ascended to heaven and will one day return in power and glory.

John 1:14, Colossians 2:9,
Acts 2:33

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He convicts people of sin, gives new spiritual life, lives in believers, teaches them, and sets them apart for a holy life. We encourage all believers to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading. This is key for living with power and using the gifts God gives for ministry.

Titus 3:5, Acts 1:8,1 Cor. 3:16

The Church

The Church is made up of all people who have been born again through faith in Jesus, regardless of race, age, background, or culture. Led by Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Church shares the good news of salvation around the world. We emphasize love for God and one another, unity among believers, and obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 2:19–21, 3:10

The Bible

The Old and New Testaments together make up the Bible, which is the complete and perfect Word of God. Though written by human hands, it is inspired by God and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is our final authority for what we believe and how we live.

2 Peter 1:20, Hebrews 4:12

The Nature
of Mankind

Humans were made in the image of God but fell into sin by choosing to disobey Him. As a result, all people are spiritually dead apart from Jesus. This fall was a real event in history, and its effects have touched everyone. Each person is born with a sinful nature and needs salvation.

Ephesians 2:1,
Romans 3:10, 3:23–24

The Necessity
of Salvation

Salvation is a gift of God's grace—it cannot be earned. It involves turning from our own way and turning toward God. When someone puts their trust in Jesus, they are born again by the Holy Spirit and become a child of God. Our relationship with God is secure, not because of what we do, but because of His power and love. A changed life follows true salvation.

Titus 2:11, 1 John 1:9, 1 Peter 2:2

About Eternity

We were made to live forever. Each person will either be eternally separated from God because of sin—or eternally united with Him through forgiveness and salvation. Hell is real, and so is Heaven. Eternal life means being with God forever.

1 Corinthians 2:7–9
